Aryan Pandey

I played cricket at the state and national levels in school and am currently a representative on the college cricket team as well. I am very passionate about cricket, and I have always wanted to remain connected to it. This interest of mine made me eager to pursue an education course or one regarding sports as well. After some research I found the Bachelors of Sports Management course at Sydenham college and enrolled for it. During the course they provided real-time working experience in different branches of sports management. They also conduct special Friday sessions, which are extremely interactive. Faculty is very supportive and cooperative. Both Sydenham and Ironwood have been great guiding and motivating forces. I am in my first year, and I have completed three internships. My first working experience was in IIT Bombay's half marathon where handled the registering department & Bib distribution. My second working experience was at the Lokmat Maha Marathon where I attended the Food and Nutrition Department. A very recent experience of mine was at the Grand G20 Summit, which was hosted in India for the very first time. I was in charge of taking care of the foreign delegates from all across the world. Overall, it has been a fantastic experience being a part of Sydenham College and Ironwood. I am very thankful to them for giving me such opportunities.

I was a science student and was totally unaware of the Bachelors of Sports Management course. From my school days, I have played many games at different levels and I always wanted to stay around sports. This made me pursue my passion for my education with the BSM degree course at Sydenham College. Ironwood always makes sure to keep a good relationship with their students and help them out in all the ways. They also organized Talk Show in which we got to meet the different sports personalities. My very first internship was for the IIT Bombay Half Marathon. I was also a part of the Lokmat Maha Marathon 2022, G20 Summit India 2022, which was conducted for the first time in India. I was part of a technical team and was responsible for managing all the delegates from across the world. I look forward for more opportunities.

Nirmit Patel

My experience here has been amazing. I came across Ironwood on Instagram, and I immediately decided to have an appointment with the counsellors, in the counselling he explained the course and opportunities in sports management & helped me with all the admission process. The lectures are more practical than theoretical. I have gained a lot of practical knowledge, and with that, I have also got very cool and interesting internship opportunities, with my coolest being with Percept, IPL for a company called PMG (professional management group), which is owned by Sunil Gavaskar. Furthermore, I would like to say that the professors and everyone else here are very lovely and very helpful. So, it's a very cool environment to be in. So, in my second year, I got one of the biggest opportunities to host an event for my college, which was LOC, or League of Champions. My class and I decided to do a two-day sporting event during the COVID times because, with all the permissions and norms, we followed everything. The first day it was cricket, and the second day it was football. We got good, amazing feedback for it. And now we are continuing that every year. So that's kind of the legacy Ironwood has.

I am a Professional Squash Player. I had started playing squash when I was a kid (last 14 years). I have also represented Maharashtra National Team 5 times and I am 3 times National Champion. My love for sports is what led me to Ironwood Global Sports Academy. I am pursuing BBA in sports management. It has been 2 years into the course and I have already learned so many new things about the Sports Industry which I wasn't aware of. It has been an amazing experience for me.
